A message dated April 20, 2000, was read stating the Senate has                
passed CSHB 288(JUD) with the following amendment and it is                    
transmitted for consideration:                                                 
                                                                               
SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 288(FIN)                                  
"An Act relating to the creation of an aggravating factor for the             
commission of domestic violence in the physical presence or                    
hearing of a child."
